Small 4to; stiff pictorial wraps, softcover magazine; black & white and color illustrations; includes two original color pages by Sendak plus a 16 page insert of his King Grisly Beard, which Schiller considers to be the first printing. Hanrahan notes that there is a coupon on page 131 for ordering the book, which may have already been in print. the insert is fine but the magazine has slight edgewear else a very good clean tight copy.
